A significant share of environmental impact linked to our products originates upstream, particularly from raw materials and logistics. HARDI recognises this as a material consideration and commits, through our policies, to taking upstream impacts into account when evaluating materials, production processes, and longer-term improvement opportunities as part of ongoing product and operational development.
Resources and Waste management
Within our own operations, we focus on improving energy efficiency and resource use through production planning, process optimisation, and the use of more energy-efficient equipment where feasible. We also encourage employee awareness and engagement in sustainability-related practices as part of daily operations.
Waste management is addressed through a focus on reducing waste generation, reusing materials where possible, and recycling production waste streams in line with local systems and infrastructure. While some materials and processes remain challenging to recycle, continuous improvement remains a core principle of our production approach.
