Did you know that HARDI Mudguards are made from recycled HARDI Tanks?

Sustainable practices throughout HARDI's value chain

At HARDI, we are always looking for ways to reduce waste in our manufacturing process. We do however have to deal with it sometimes - which is when recycling comes into play.

Residuals from tank production or in an unfortunate case of a defect during the production process are cut into small pieces and sent to the recycling company. The recycling company grinds the tank into a fine black powder, which HARDI purchases to manufacture HARDI mudguards.

Ultimately, HARDI receives the same plastics from the tanks sent to the recycling company in the first place, which supports HARDI’s mission to support the circular economy. 100% of the material used in HARDI Mudguards comes from recycled polyethene from scraps during production.

Reduce, Reuse and Recycle

We at HARDI believe that collaboration and teamwork are essential to reducing our environmental footprint. Therefore, every step in the value chain is closely analyzed to find new solutions. All materials with high recyclabilities, such as metals, are separated for collection and recycling. Certain materials, such as plastics from tank production, continue their lifecycle within the production process, serving other functions.

Moreover, it is important to consider the Product Life Cycle, which is why we at HARDI offer a Re-Sale platform, Hardi-resale.com.
