Strong and rigid boom
We have designed and manufactured the and VPZ booms to meet all spraying requirements, utilising our knowledge and experience as the world’s leading sprayer specialist.
The VPZ booms 21-28 m have integrated AntiYaw dampeners on the boom wings, while the lattice boom structure ensures a strong and rigid boom; the bases for exact and uniform spray distribution.
The nozzles, spray lines and hoses are all well protected within the boom design, and a spring-loaded break-away section protects the tip of the boom.
Precise folding
Due to the design of our folding mechanism, the 27/28 m booms fold neatly to the same dimensions as those of a 24 m boom, always keeping the centre of gravity close to the tractor.
Flexible folding
Since the sprayer is operated by direct hydraulics, only one double-acting outlet is required for 7 different operations.
The Z version offers several extra features, such as reduced folding, single-side folding and individual boom tilt.
Electro-hydraulic operation
To allow for easy and intuitive operation of the sprayer, all boom functions on the VPZ booms 21-28 m can be electro-hydraulically operated from the SetBox.
Along with the primary spray functions, the HARDI Grip also controls in-field hydraulic functions such as boom height, independent tilting of individual boom sections and complete boom slanting.
Robust and stable boom
To secure a straight and reliable boom with minimal yaw movements, we have mounted locking devices between the different boom elements, essential for great performance in the field.
