As one of the first companies in the agricultural sprayer industry to offer Remote-Live Customer Support, HARDI is taking a major step towards a CO2-friendly approach with the RemoteEye solution. 

HARDI RemoteEye is a remote assistance solution, coupled with AR (augmented reality) smart glasses, which allows our service technicians to provide service remotely without having to travel to the customer's location.  Therefore, when assistance is required, one can simply turn on the smart glasses with a built-in camera to identify a customer's issue and find a solution to the problem. 

Case stories: A global reach with significantly lower carbon emission

Traditionally, technical service support to customers across different countries and continents involves several travels, contributing to higher carbon footprints. The RemoteEye solution, allows us to overcome geographic barriers by reducing travel significantly. 

Let’s delve into the real-life highlights of the RemoteEye by examining a recent case from our Global Technical Service Team. 

A recent example is when our technical service technician assisted customers in Israel, Serbia, and South Africa within just 1.5 hours. Without the RemoteEye, the carbon emissions on the travels would be approximately 0.7 tonnes of CO2* to Israel, approximately 0.4 tonnes of CO2* to Serbia and approximately 2.3 tonnes of CO2* to South Africa. Whereas given the complete elimination of travel to these countries, a collective of 3.4 tonnes of CO2* has been effectively reduced, just in this scenario. The potential for overall savings in carbon emissions becomes even more significant when applied to other service travel eliminations.
