A people-care partner

People are the focal point of HARDI’s operations – we are deeply committed to employee health and well-being, with a focus on safety, inclusion, continuous training and development.

The following are some of the initiatives on HARDI's commitment to being a people care partner.

Safety First!

Our goal is to achieve “Vision Zero” and a mind-set that all accidents are preventable. We want to create a workplace where our employees can feel confident, safe, and protected.

We, therefore, strive for continuous improvement of the working conditions and a built-in “safety first” culture. We believe that safety is everyone's responsibility, and we encourage our employees to take an active role in promoting safety in the workplace.

Diversity, inclusion and equality

At HARDI, we believe that a diverse and inclusive workplace is essential for our success. We recognize that our employees come from different backgrounds and experiences, and we value and embrace those differences. Our commitment to diversity and inclusion is not only the right thing to do but also critical to our business success.

Equal opportunity and treatment are a part of our recruitment process and our approach to developing current employees. We encourage and promote internal mobility. We also offer flexible work arrangements to accommodate the needs of our employees.

Our commitment to fair treatment of employees also applies when working with our suppliers – by collaborating with those that share our Code of Conduct requirements, we ensure that a high standard of employment practices and standards is maintained through our value chain.

Workplace Culture

We strive to create a workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and included. We offer a supportive environment that encourages open communication, collaboration, and teamwork.

Our leadership team is committed to fostering an inclusive culture that promotes equity and fairness for all employees. We recognize the importance of work-life balance and encourage our employees to prioritize their well-being.

Professional growth, training and development

At HARDI, our employees are provided with a range of opportunities to support their professional growth and enhance their skills, knowledge and abilities. We develop partnerships to recruit and train apprentices and promote skills development within the workplace.

It is also important to ensure knowledge transfer outside of the workplace and that our technology is utilised as efficiently as possible – through the HARDI Academy, we offer professional training to farmers, importers and partners on the optimal use of HARDI products.
