Introduction
Meet the Börjessons family from Sweden, who have recently upgraded to the HARDI AEON CENTURA line 6000 litres with 30-meter DELTA FORCE boom and PulseSystem. For many years, the Börjessons family have been using the HARDI COMMANDER 4400 litres, and now upgraded to the AEON CENTURA line 6000 for an update with the new technology.
Börjessons farm in Västergötland, Sweden, spans 1,000 hectares, with 600 hectares dedicated to arable land and the remainder covered in forest. They primarily cultivate grains, spring rape, and conserved peas.

AEON CENTURA line because…
What made you choose AEON over other sprayers on the market?
“Partly, the last time we bought a sprayer, it was also the most modern available, and we thought that you rarely change. So, we decided to go big, and then there was this PulseSystem that had just come out.”

Are there any features that have pleasantly surprised you?
“It’s the control of the rear wheels, and you turn into a field. I can get help when I’m driving into a field from the road. I can start the auto-steering and get help getting the sprayer in. The same when driving in the crop, like when I drive into the wheat, for example. It follows the tractor and avoids creating these tracks.”
Capacity
How has the AEON sprayer impacted your workday?
“With our old COMMANDER, we felt, yes, it held 4400 litres, and now the AEON holds 6000. Now, this sprayer is 2000 litres larger, so it can run longer. So that’s positive.”
CurveControl
What do you think of features like CurveControl?
“It's just what it shows. It has not been long enough to see what it does in curves and such, but you can see that it increases in the outer curve. That must be positive. The weeds have just been sprayed, so we haven’t seen the result yet. But it seems like the CurveControl works.”
Boom automation
How has the AEON’s boom automation and precision changed efficiency?
“I can probably drive a few kilometres faster than with my old one. So, it has gotten better with five sensors instead of three.”

What do you think are the main advantages of AEON over other sprayers you've used before?
“It’s the wheels that can be controlled separately. And now it has three folded booms. It's easier to drive because it doesn't stick out so far. So that's why we chose the three-part instead, so it doesn't go so close to the tractor during transport.”
What are your views on the future of agricultural technology, and what role do you think HARDI will play?
“They'll probably keep up. They've always been at the forefront.”
