The boom has the simple task of holding the nozzle at a set height over the target. This is relatively easy with a small boom but becomes increasingly difficult when booms become wider, travel faster and when turning at the headland.
Booms must also be robust, offer nozzle protection, be compact when in transport, and be able to sustain potential ground strikes without sustaining damage.
Therefore, when selecting a boom, it is important to not only look at the width of a boom but to also look for stability and strength. Field conditions may differ widely, but if a sprayer is to provide a uniform application, stability must be maintained.
HARDI has a wide range of booms available to suit all your needs.
